A special Christmas gift
Comet staff report

Generosity and goodwill abound at Christmas. There are countless stories documenting these kind acts.

Last week one such act occurred in Delphi at the home of Russ and Betty Landis. Betty is caring for her husband who is battling cancer. Their son, Chris, stopped by with lasagna that his wife, Jennifer had made. When the garage door was opened for him to leave, there standing in the driveway was Kevin Kayser and the DCHS Entertainers. They filed into the garage, sang Christmas carols, and warmed the Landis's hearts.

Many of the singers were former students of Mr. Landis. They knew of his ill health and wanted to cheer him up.

According to the Landises, it was truly a special Christmas gift - one they will not soon forget.
