Family opens home for 'Blue' Christmas
Comet staff report

A rural Delphi couple without plans for Christmas Eve will open their home to others in need of a little company that evening.

Mr. and Mrs. Gary Cleaver will offer a "Blue" Christmas Dec. 24 from 4 to 8 p.m. at their farm, located at 495S. CR750W., about half a mile south of Division Line Rd.

Those who enjoy the meaning of the Christmas season are invited to visit the couple to enjoy a meal, see farm animals, sing hymns and carols, and enjoy conversation. The evening will be centered around the Christmas story.

"My wife and I didn't have anything planned for Christmas Eve," Cleaver said. "We just want to focus on the meaning of this time of year and share the evening with others in need of company."

Those interested in visiting the farm for Blue Christmas are asked to RSVP by Sunday. Call (765) 564-2883 or e-mail gcleaver@netusa1.net.
