Flora Boy Scouts fix up Santa House

The Santa House in Flora has a fresh look this Christmas season, thanks to the Flora Boy Scouts.

The Scouts tore the old roof off and re-roofed the structure and tore off the old siding and put on new. They also replaced the door and did some work on the floor inside. Wilcox Lumber contributed to the project by giving discounts on the materials.

The volunteer work was done for Flora Psi Iota Xi, which now owns the Santa House. It was turned over to the sorority last spring by the Flora Community Club. The sorority has always been in charge of the Santa House visits. Psi Otes provide a free picture with Santa, along with other treats.
