Burlington Newly elected town officials will have an open house at the town hall on Jan. 2, 3 and 4 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. Residents and business owners in the town and township are welcome to stop by to offer suggestions and discuss ideas and concerns. Snacks and drinks will be served. Kiwanis Club will have its family Christmas on Saturday. Those planning to attend are asked to contact Teddy Huffer. Burlington Church of Christ Christmas cantata will be presented Sunday morning. In the evening, friends and members will go caroling. Christmas Eve Service at the United Methodist Church will be held at 11 p.m. Monday. A children's Christmas program will be presented Sunday during morning worship at Crossroads Community Christian Church. A candlelight service will be held at 7 p.m. Members and friends of Faith Church of Christ will go caroling tonight, Dec. 19, starting at 5:30 p.m. Supper will be provided. A Christmas cantata will be presented Sunday morning at Faith Church of Christ, and again on Dec. 30 at 6 p.m. Christmas Eve Candlelight Communion Service will be held at 8 p.m. Monday. |
