Lower Deer Creek Church of the Brethren will have Christmas Eve Service at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the church.

Christmas Eve Service at the United Methodist Church will be at 8:30 p.m. Monday.

First Baptist Church's Christmas Eve Service will be at 11 p.m. Monday.

The town office will be closed Dec. 24 and 25 for Christmas.

The newly elected town council and clerk-treasurer will be sworn-in at 6:30 p.m. tonight, Dec. 19, at the town office.

An end-of-the-year council meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Dec. 27. Beginning in 2008, council meetings will be held the second Thursday of the month at 7 p.m.
