Carroll freshmen win first two games

Carroll's 9th grade basketball team came away with a 10-point victory, 43-33, over host Delphi on Dec. 3. The young Cougars were led in scoring by Noah Allen with 21, Cole Sellers with 7 and Mitch Witham with 5. Jonathon Bush controlled the backboards with 8, followed by 4 each for Aaron Spesard, Witham and Sellers.

On Thursday the Cougars brought home another win, this time at Taylor, 37-24. Leading the team was Allen with 17 points and Cole with 8. Controlling the board were Bush and Sellers with 7 and 5, respectively. Spesard added 6 assists and Jarvis Simmons had 3 steals.

The Cougars are off to a 2-0 start and have three games this week.
