Shanks to celebrate 80th
Charles Harold Shanks of Delphi will celebrate his 80th birthday at an open house hosted by his family Dec. 18 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Delphi VFW.

Mr. Shanks was born Dec. 18, 1927. He is a retired farmer and real estate agent and has lived in Carroll County his entire life. He is a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Delphi.

The family requested gifts be omitted, but cards are welcome.
