Alice L. Kirkpatrick

Alice L. Kirkpatrick, 89, of Frankfort, passed away Dec. 7, 2007, at noon in Wesley Manor Health Care Center.

She was born Feb. 6, 1918, in Frankfort to Ora and Maude Roby Mitchell. Her marriage of 59 years was to Rev. John M. Kirkpatrick, who preceded her in death Dec. 23, 1996.

Mrs. Kirkpatrick was a homemaker. She had resided in Fort Wayne, Indianapolis, Richmond, Hillsboro, Kewanna, Princeton and Fowler.

A graduate of Frankfort High School, she attended the former Indiana Central College, now the University of Indianapolis.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women.

Mrs. Kirkpatrick raised 12 children and is survived by 18 grandchildren and 21 greatgrandchildren.

Visitation will be today, Wednesday, at 1 p.m., followed by services at 2 at Wesley Manor Chapel in Frankfort. Burial will be at Ball Hill Cemetery in Cutler.

Goodwin Funeral Home in Frankfort is in charge of arrangements.
