Happy eating! Chocolate Marshmallow Slices 2 C. semi sweet chocolate chips 1/2 C. butter 6 C. mini marshmallows 1 C. pecans, finely chopped In medium saucepan over low heat, melt chocolate chips and butter, stirring constantly until blended. Remove from heat. Cool 5 minutes. Stir in marshmallows and nuts. On waxed paper, shape mixture into 2 rolls, 2 inches in diameter. Wrap in foil. Chill 15 minutes. Roll in additional nuts. Wrap. Chill overnight. Cut rolls into quarter inch slices and store in airtight containers. Makes 3 dozen slices. Never Fail Divinity 1/2 C. water 2 C. sugar pinch of salt 1 small jar marshmallow créme 1 tsp. vanilla cherries, chopped 1 C. nuts Put water, sugar and salt in saucepan. Bring to a rolling boil or until candy thermometer reaches 250 degrees. Place marshmallow créme in a bowl and pour hot mixture over créme. Stir well. Add vanilla, nuts and cherries and stir until soft peaks form. Spoon out on a sheet of waxed paper or foil and let set. Easy Micro Fudge 1 T. butter 1 can sweetened condensed milk 2 12-oz. pkgs. chocolate chips Pour all ingredients into bowl. Melt three minutes in microwave. Stir. Pour into buttered pan and let set until firm. |
