YMCA announces Lift-a-Thon winners

Carroll County YMCA held a Lift-a-Thon on Dec. 1 for men in Carroll County and the surrounding area.

The event was organized by YMCA Director Russ Siler and conducted by Ron Clark, president of the National Federation of Professional Trainers.

Three events were judged: bench press, squat, and dead lift. Weight, age, and amount of weight lifted were all factors in determining the overall top three winners.

Seth Stafford was the first place winner; Dave Mann, second; and Russ Chapman, third.
