Delphi wins Winamac Super Duals
Eight Oracles named champions

Delphi wrestling team improved their team record to 8- 3 by winning the Winamac Super Duals on Saturday.

In round one, Delphi beat Mississinewa 73-3: round two beat West Central 77-3; beat Culver Military Academy 58-14: beat Caston 73- 0; and beat Winamac 58-21.

Champions for the day were Blake Price at 103 lbs., Bobby Floyd at 112, Donovan Alderman at 119, Aaron Back at 125, Cory Smith at 140, Braden Atwood at 160, Brandon Delaney at 189, and Wesley Everett at 285. All champions were 5-0 except Smith who was 4-1.

Also going 4-1 were Adam Cunningham at 130, Nathan McTigue at 135, Tyler Cooper at 145, and Travis Yoakum at 215. Shane Evans at 171 won thee and Derek Bradshaw at 152 won two.

The Oracles will be in action again Thursday when they travel to Frankfort.

Vs. Carroll

The Oracles defeated county foe, Carroll 77-0. Winning with pins for the Oracles were Randy McIlrath at 103, Alderman at 119, Nathan McTigue at 135, Atwood at 160, Delaney at 189, Yoakum at 215, Everett at 285. Winning for the Oracles were Cunningham at 125, Back at 130, Cory Smith at 140, Tyler Cooper at 145, Roy Anderson at 152, Evans at 171, and Floyd at 112.
