The Rev. Ron Elly will fill the pulpit at Deer Creek Presbyterian Church on Dec. 9 and 16, and the Rev. Joseph Huse on Dec. 23.

Deer Creek Presbyterian Church has asked members to bring children's mittens, gloves, scarves, sock caps and baby items (receiving blankets, soap, washcloths and misc items).

The women of Faith Lutheran Church's WELCA will meet at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the church. The officers will give the lesson and they will be the hostesses for the day. All the women of the church are invited to attend.

The Youth of Faith Lutheran are going to sponsor two needy families this year, one from Carroll County and one from Cass County.

Remember the shut-ins and the home bound during this holiday season with cards and visits.
