Delphi wins Winamac Super Duals
Eight Oracles named champions
      Delphi wrestling team improved their team record to 8- 3 by winning the Winamac Super Duals on Saturday. In round one, Delphi beat Mississinewa 73-3: round two beat West Central 77-3; beat Culver Military Academy 58-14: beat Caston 73- 0; and beat Winamac 58-21.

Lady Oracles end streak

      The Lady Oracles improved their record to 3-5 with a 41-31 win over Clinton Prairie in a Saturday afternoon contest. Their losing streak had reached five earlier in the week when they traveled to Twin Lakes to face the 6-0, top ten ranked Indians and limped home on the short end of a 77-21 score.

YMCA announces Lift-a-Thon winners
      Carroll County YMCA held a Lift-a-Thon on Dec. 1 for men in Carroll County and the surrounding area. The event was organized by YMCA Director Russ Siler and conducted by Ron Clark, president of the National Federation of Professional Trainers.

      Carroll Elementary School's Cougar of the Month is Mike Hyman. A fifth grade teacher, he was nominated by Kayla Sheagley. She said in her letter of nomination, "He starts our day with a laugh, helps us through our problem set, and gives us another try.

      Sign-up for Carroll Wrestling Club will be held Dec. 6 and Dec. 13 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in the Carroll High School cafeteria. Practices will be held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30 to 8 p.m., except on nights of varsity or junior high wrestling meets.
