Carroll 7th splits with Frankfort

Carroll's 7th grade A-team lost a close contest in overtime, 35- 33, to Frankfort. The Cougars were led by Eric Miller's fine allaround game with 20 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Brady Wiles had 4 assists, while Taylor Downham chipped in with 8 points and 5 rebounds. The Cougars fell to 2-2.

The B-squad remained undefeated, beating Frankfort 35-26. Balanced scoring was the key to the victory with Kaanan Pruitt, Brian Keith and Trevor Ayres scoring 10, 9 and 8 points, respectively. Keith, who had a tremendous all-around game, also contributed 9 rebounds, 5 steals and 9 blocked shots. Tallis Bowers added 3 assists.
