Indiana State Police at the Lafayette Post released statistics for October. Troopers issued 1052 traffic citations and wrote 874 traffic warnings. Troopers also arrested 12 drunk drivers and made 26 criminal arrests, issued 302 truck citations, made 126 commercial motor vehicle inspections, investigated 49 crashes, made 24 crash arrests; and had 102 calls for service.

Detectives from the Criminal Investigations Division worked 14 new cases and assisted the troopers in total criminal arrests.

The ISP Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Division at the Lafayette Post weighed 5,394 total trucks at the scales on I-74 and the use of portable scales. There were 58 total arrests and 122 warnings issued.
