Grant workshops announced for individual artists

      The Indiana Arts Commission (IAC) announced it will collaborate to present two grant workshops for individual artists residing in Region 4, which includes Benton, Carroll, Cass, Clinton, Fountain, Howard, Jasper, Montgomery, Newton, Pulaski, Tippecanoe, Tipton, Warren and White counties.

Canal Christmas to be Dec. 8-9

      "Christmas at the Canal" is planned for Dec. 8 and 9. Hours will be 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday at Canal Park, Delphi. The log schoolhouse will be open, along with the Reed Case House, decorated cabins, and the Interpretive Center.

      Carroll County Cares About Kids toy drive will begin Saturday and continue through Dec. 21. Sponsored by Beta Alpha Chapter of Psi Iota Xi sorority, the annual drive is a means to collect toys and other gift items for children in the county who might not otherwise receive gifts for Christmas.
