Carroll seniors visit nation's Capital
Sixty-eight Carroll seniors recently took part in the annual overnight senior trip to Washington, D.C. Students visited many places of interest, including Arlington National Cemetery, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Vietnam War Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monument, Iwo Jima Memorial, Jefferson Memorial, World War II Memorial, Albert Einstein Park, Roosevelt Park, and The White House. "This was truly a trip of a lifetime," said senior Kelsie Ann Thornburg. "The students had a chance to spread their wings in a whole new experience and see some of the greatest things this country has to offer. It was all-around a great trip no one will ever forget!" Accompanying the students were two parents and teachers, Ed Geheb, Stacey Brazel, and Fred Schnarr.
