First Assembly to present holiday dinner theatre
Comet staff report

First Assembly of God in Delphi will hold its eighth annual holiday dinner theatre, "All on a Christmas Day," on Dec. 7, 8 and 9. All performances will begin at 6:30pm.

Guests will enjoy both a full course meal and a Broadwaystyle musical production.

This year's drama begins on Christmas Eve. Holly and her daughter, Megan, are putting the finishing touches on their Christmas tree. Poppy Rufus, great-grandpa to little Megan, sits nearby in his wheelchair, mostly immobile and unable to speak after a recent stroke. As Holly and Megan hang ornaments, Megan asks about Poppy's life. Thus begins the journey with Rufus Miller as he searches for significance in his life.

The Broadway-style musical incorporates a dramatic story, production numbers, and ballads, all culminating in a moment of decision.

"Encompassing the course of one man's life, the message of the ages is brought to us again. Emmanuel has come…All on a Christmas Day," said Pastor Brent Oliver.

For more information, contact the church office at 765-564- 2200 between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The church is located on U.S. 421, two miles north of SR 25.
