Alderman is lightweight champion at Chesterton

The Delphi wrestling team's opening meet was at the Chesterton Super Duals. The Oracles finished the day at 2-3.

At 119 lbs., Donovan Alderman went 5-0 and was the Lightweight Wrestler of the Meet. Braden Atwood at 160 lbs. also went 5-0. Finishing the day 4-1 were Bob Floyd at 112 lbs., Brandon Delaney at 189, and Wesley Everett at 285. Winning two were Nathan McTigue at 130, Tyler Cooper at 145, Shane Evans at 171, and Travis Yoakum at 215. Winning one for the Oracles were Adam Cunningham at 125, Cory Smith at 140, and Daniel Clawson at 171.

The Oracles will be back in action at home on Nov. 27 at 6 p.m. against county foe, Carroll.
