Burlington burglaries solved

The Burlington Police Department and Carroll County Sheriff's Office solved eight burglaries, which recently occurred in and around the Burlington area. With the assistance of a surveillance video from one of the victims, officers were able to identify the two suspects.

Suspect Adam Monize was located and arrested on a warrant out of Howard County. Monize was charged in Carroll County with eight counts of class "C" felony burglaries. During the investigation it was discovered Monize was also involved in several Howard County burglaries.

The Greentown Police Department and the Howard County Sheriff's Office assisted local authorities in searching the residence of suspects. During the search officers recovered some stolen items from the Burlington area. Officers are still investigating the burglaries for future arrests.
