Siblings Brooke and John Michael Beale portrayed Mary and Joseph during Flora's Chritmas parade. Other family members not pictured represented the three Wise Men. The family entry was named Best Walking Group by parade judges Windy Wickersham, Jane Brewington and Laurie Brower. Parade announcer was Bret Rinehart. Coordinator Danielle Hicks said cooperative weather and a good turn-out by residents were welcomed. "Our Christmas parade brings home the holiday feel," she said.

Comet photo by Kevin Schnepp Representative of Christmas Area towns participating in Flora's Christmas parade last Saturday brought with them tidings of good cheer. Pictured is a float carrying Camden's Little Miss and Mister contest winners, named Best Float by parade judges. The town's youthful representatives delighted onlookers with a decked-out float, friendly waves and plenty of candy.
