Library Delphi Public The library will close Nov. 21 at 6 p.m. and be closed all Thanksgiving Day. Normal library hours, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., will resume Friday. The Hoosier Salon Exhibit Tour, on display in the Gerber Globe Valve Room, continues through Nov. 24. The public is invited to stop by the library and see a sampling of some of Indiana's best art. Another Dance, Dance Revolution is planned for Dec. 7 from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Students grades six and up are invited to come to the library to compete in some pretty heated video dance competition. Come and enjoy great music, fun, laughs and be prepared to show off your dance moves. This month's feature for Monthly Cinema is "Joyeux Noel." The Academy Awardwinning film will be shown Dec. 13 at 7 p.m. The film tells the true-life story of the spontaneous Christmas Eve truce declared by Scottish, French and German troops in the trenches of World War I. French refreshments will be served and a great discussion will follow the presentation. For program information call the library at (765) 564-2929. Flora-Monroe Township The library will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 22, in observance of Thanksgiving Day. Basics of Drawing, a beginning art class taught by Brenda Daly Reid, will be offered Monday evenings, Nov. 26 through Dec. 10, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Visual art is not merely random or subjective. Successful execution involves method and training. This course is offered to beginners or those needing refreshed in the basics of drawing. Students will learn exercises in training the hand to follow the eye, proper position of the hand in drawing, and more. This is a fun class which lays the groundwork for classes to follow. The next preschool storytime theme is "Good Morning/Good Night." Storytime is Tuesday mornings at 10 a.m. Dial-a Story is available 24 hours a day. Currently playing is "Little Ida's Flowers."
