Bank on it
Residents in and around Delphi will have another banking choice, possibly as early as spring 2008, according to Security Federal Savings Bank President and Chief Executive Officer Annette Russell. During a ground-breaking ceremony held last Thursday at the intersection of Armory Rd. and US421, Russell said the proposed route of the Hoosier Heartland Corridor and potential growth it could bring were reasons the bank decided to build in Delphi. Mayor Lee Hoard said the city and bank had shared a wonderful working relationship. "We're etremely excited about you coming to town," he told bank representatives. "We certainly welcome the jobs and investment Security Federal is making in our community," Carroll County Economic Development Corporation Executive Director Daryl Smith said.
