Sewing Day
      Extension Homemakers sponsored a Sewing Day on Nov. 12. There were 36 attendees from the Carroll County community who worked together to make 250 Christmas bags for the Toy Store.

Moore returns from Iraq
      Sgt. Lyle Moore returned from his third tour of duty in Iraq on Nov. 9. He was welcomed home with a special ceremony at Fort Drum, NY. Moore was returning after being deployed for 15 months. While he was in Iraq, he received his promotion to his present rank of sergeant.
