Linda L. Shambaugh

Linda L. Helmerick Shambaugh, 57, of Camden, died at 12:14 p.m. Nov. 11, 2007, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Lafayette.

Born Sept. 3, 1950, in Lafayette, she was the daughter of Cecil Helmerick and the late Phyllis Gerhart Helmerick. She was married on March 10, 1985, in Lafayette, to Joaquin Shambaugh, and he survives.

Mrs. Shambaugh was a registered nurse in Lafayette.

Also surviving are a daughter, Jamie J. Nichols (husband: Doug) of Camden; a son, Will N. Bishop of Flora; her father and stepmother, Sharon Helmerick, of West Lafayette; two sisters, Sandra K. Richeson (husband: Dirk) and Susan E. DeLong (husband: Kenny), both of Lafayette; and a brother, Jeffery L. Helmerick (wife: Jackie) of West Lafayette.

Private services were held.
