Delphi FFA awarded at national convention

Delphi FFA members enjoyed an outstanding and rewarding National FFA Convention in Indianapolis at the beginning of the month.

Members Morgan Minnicus, Chris Royer, Brittany Wise and Tyler Cocanower attended a recognition banquet during the week to accept a National Two Star Chapter Award on behalf of the Delphi chapter. The award is based on student, chapter and community involvement throughout the year. During the banquet Anne Ryder of WTHR in Indianapolis presented an inspirational speech about personal growth and the importance of building leadership skills.

Members Chris Royer, Amber Blackburn, Darci Bradshaw and Stef Fuller visited college and agriculture business booths at the National Career Show.

At week's end parents, members and advisors watched as Delphi FFA members Wes Berkshire and Kyle Schwarzkopf received American FFA degrees, the highest FFA member honor. The degree is based on members' involvement in leadership, growth and achievements throughout the Supervised Agriculture Experience Program.
