Miller, Deaton wed

Melissa Miller and Kyle Deaton exchanged wedding vows Sept. 9 at 3:30 p.m. in Thomas Duncan Hall, Lafayette.

Their parents are Roger and Renita Miller and Bruce and Julie Deaton, all of Rossville.

Darrell Boyd officiated the ceremony.

Maid of honor was Michelle Bowman, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Maria Wolf of Rossville and Tamera Brubaker of New Carlisle, Ohio. Flower girls were Ainsley and Paige Kretz and Sierra and Evie Meador.

The groom's best man was his brother, Kendall Deaton of Adams, Ore. Groomsmen were Bradley Boyd and Eric Flora, both of Rossville.

Ushers were Arlyn Meador and Greg Bowman, both of Rossville, Kevin Root of Modesto, Calif.,Michael Boyd of Delphi and Zane Peters of Flora.

Guest registrars were Lynnae Deaton, sister of the groom, and Amber and Anna Miller, sisters of the bride. Gift attendants were Malinda Long of Rossville and Laura Ritter of Brookville, Ohio.

Areception was held at Duncan Hall. Servers were Emily Zaiger of Waynesboro, Penn., Hannah Brubaker of Logansport, Dena Haney of Ellensburg, Wash., Kara Hirt of Flora, and Rebecca Long, Brandon Miller, Micah Miller, Jaryl Flora, Kent Flora andAbe Jenkins, all of Rossville.

The bride graduated from New Hope School in 2004 and is a part-time nanny in Lafayette.

The groom also graduated from New Hope in 2004. He is employed with Brenneco Fire Protection in Flora.

After a one-week trip to Fripp Island in South Carolina, the couple returned home to 5368S. 800W., Delphi.
