80th birthday

Doris Jean Bryan, 271E 750S, Logansport, will celebrate her 80th birthday with an open house given by her family at the Deer Creek Community Center.

The event will be Nov. 10 from 2 to 4 p.m.

The daughter of Carl and Icle Jones, Mrs. Bryan was born Nov. 11, 1927, in Carroll County. She was married to Glen E. Bryan on June 1, 1947. He passed away on May 21, 1991.

Mrs. Bryan has three children, Greg and Jen Bryan of Peru, Curt and Pam Bryan of Galveston, and Joy and Denny Gaylor ofWalton. She also has six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

She is a member of the Deer Creek Presbyterian Church, where she has played the piano and organ for over 70 years. She is also a 50-year member of the Order of Eastern Star in Camden and of the Indiana Farm Bureau.

The family requests that friends who cannot be at the open house call or send a card.
