Completion of Opera House façade restoration to be celebrated

An open house will be held Saturday in Delphi to celebrate the completion of the façade restoration on the Assion-Ruffing City Hall Building at 105 S. Washington St.

Delphi Preservation Society is hosting the event from 12 noon to 4 p.m.

Designs for the Opera House Restoration will be on display and there will be tours of the Opera House.Abrief ceremony to commemorate the occasion and cut the ribbon will be held at 2 p.m.

Another major restoration project in Delphi, the Stearns Truss Bridge, is also being celebrated this weekend. The trolley will be picking up passengers in front of the Opera House building to transport them to the bridge site Saturday afternoon. That dedication will be held Sunday at 2 p.m.
