Jack Taylor Gonzalez, son of Alex and Rosie Gonzalez, was baptized Sunday at Faith Lutheran Church.

Youth of Faith Lutheran Church will have a 24-hour famine lock-in to raisemoney for Emmaus Mission Center. The lock-inwill begin at 6 p.m. Friday at the church.

The women of Faith's WELCA will meet Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at the church. Phyllis Rinehart will give the lesson and be the hostess.All women of the church are invited to attend.

Deer Creek Presbyterian Church will have the Rev. Ron Elly as visiting pastor for November. The church has purchased 24 poinsettias. Sponsors for the flowers are needed. Cost is $6.50 each. Contact Mary Smith or the church office if interested. The flowers may be taken home after the Christmas Eve Service.
