A COMMON CONSTRUCTION WAGE HEARING for Carroll Consolidated School Corporation will be held in the Carroll County Courthouse Commissioners Room, 101 West Main Street, Delphi, at 1 p.m. Nov. 8. The project will be piping, temperature control and heat exchanger renovation at Carroll Jr.-Sr. High School.

Grand Opening of WATER TOWER PLACE APARTMENTS at 7201 W. CR 200 N., Delphi, will be held Nov. 16 from 12 noon to 3 p.m. The public is invited. Refreshments will be served.

Camden American Legion Post 413 and others from the community are sponsoring a VETERANS' DAY PROGRAMat 6 p.m. Nov. 11 at the Camden Community Building. The public is invited. The hosts especially invite all veterans and their families, and families of military men and women currently serving our country. The DCHS Band and The Entertainers will perform. Elementary school children will be creating posters, poems, or stories to honor the veterans.

Flora's CHRISTMAS PARADE will be Nov. 17 at 12:30 p.m., with the same route as last year. Line-up begins at 11:30 at Jackson-Lee- Pearson's northeast office building at the corner of Willow and Clark streets. This year's theme is "Christmas is for Children of All Ages." Awards will be given. Pre-registration for parade entries is encouraged. Contact Danielle Hicks, 967-3292. The parade is sponsored by the Flora Community Club. There will be a gift and craft show at the 4-H Building the same day, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and free trolley rides will be available between the park and downtown.

LAFAYETTE RENAISSANCE GALLERIES will be hosting its last opening Nov. 4 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Featured artist will be watercolorist Jane HuntWiley. Special guests will be the artists of the Lafayette Renaissance Galleries. Cheryl Kaldahl will provide music, and refreshments will be served. This will be the last opening because the building is for sale.

Veterans' organizations of Carroll County will hold a VETERANS' DAY MEMORIAL Nov. 11 at 11 a.m. by the war memorial on the courthouse lawn in Delphi.

American Legion Post #75 will host its ANNUAL THANKSGIVING DINNER Nov. 19 at 6:30 p.m. at the Legion post. Everything will be furnished. Reservations are requested and may be placed by calling (765) 564-2871 or 564- 4642 by Nov. 17.

Delphi American Legion Auxiliary Unit #75 will hold its ANNUAL PRE-CHRISTMAS PARTY Nov. 11 at 12:30 p.m. in Honan Hall. A carry-in meal with meat and drinks will be furnished. An optional gift exchange also will be held. Call Gerry Clawson at (765) 564- 4095 for information.

ROYAL FAMILY KIDS CAMP will host a euchre tournament Nov. 10 at the Freedom Center beginning at 6 p.m. The event will raise money to send children in foster care to summer camp.
