Secretary of State praises county clerk
With a little less than a week remaining before the Nov. 6 election, Indiana Secretary of State Todd Rokita is reminding Hoosier voters to mark their calendars, bring their photo ID and come to the polls on election day. To help to ensure a smooth voter experience at Carroll County polls, Rokita visited county clerk Laura Sterrett to answer questions or address issues. Rokita said his office wants to "be prepared for the tsunami" expected next year in the presidential election by working to resolve issues this year in the cities and towns elections. Rokita and Sterrett checked the online state-wide voter file which provides up-to-date voter registration information during the Thursday morning visit. "This is one county I don't have to worry about in an election," Rokita remarked.
