Domke 25th anniversary

Rudy and Ruth Ann (Larimore) Domke of Fairbanks, Alaska, celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary Aug. 12 with family and friends, cruising down the Chena River aboard Riverboat Discovery II.

They were married Nov. 20, 1982, in Fairbanks.

Instead of taking a cruise by themselves in a warmer climate in November, they decided to celebrate by cruising in August in order to spend a memorable evening with family and friends.

Among those attending were Domke's children, Kim and Bob Walker of Eagle River, Alaska; Dan and Vickie Domke of Fairbanks; and Ted and Laurine Domke ofWasilla, Alaska.

The Domkes are active members of Zion Lutheran Church and the Vernon L. Nash Antique Auto Club. They enjoy traveling summers to antique car meets, to their cabin on the Goodpaster River, and to their fall vacation home near Camden. They spend most of their time in Alaska.

Retired since January 1988, they continue to live on Chena Hot Springs Road in Fairbanks.
