GED TESTING will be held at the Flora-Monroe Township Library onNov. 3 and 10 from10 a.m. to 2 p.m. First-time testers must be present both days. The cost is $55 cash or money order for first-time testers and $10 per section for retesters. Fifth St. The drive will be held in honor of National Marrow Awareness Month as a reminder to help bone marrow transplant patients, who need multiple units of blood. The Tippecanoe Arts Federation (TAF) and the Wabash Valley Trust for Historic Preservation will co-host "TEA AND TALK: THE RESTORATION OF THE DELPHI OPERA HOUSE" Nov. 4 at 4 p.m. at TAF, 638 North St., Lafayette. Anita Werling, president of the Delphi Preservation Society, will be the guest lecturer. She will show images of the opera house and explain the Society's preservation efforts. The officialDEDICATIONof the STEARNS TRUSS BRIDGE will be Sunday, Nov. 11, at 2 p.m. at the bridge site behind Pizza Hut in Delphi. The "blue bridge" was built in 1905 by the Winamac Bridge Company. Its designmakes it the only known bridge of its kind in the United States.More history of the bridge will be told at the dedication.

CamdenAmerican Legion Post 413 and others fromthe community are sponsoring a VETERANS' DAY PROGRAM at 6 p.m. Nov. 11 at the Camden CommunityBuilding.The public is invited.The hosts especially invite all veterans and their families, and families ofmilitarymen andwomen currently serving our country. The DCHS Band and The Entertainers will perform. Elementary school children will be creating posters, poems, or stories to honor the veterans.
