County Extension plans open house

Carroll County Extension Service will host an open house Nov. 3 from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the 4-H building in Flora.

The public is invited for breakfast and to view the various Extension programs. Donations for the breakfast will go toward the Carroll County 4-H and EH Scholarship Funds. Program highlights will include:

Master Gardeners sharing how to care for holiday plants.

Homemakers Clubs demonstrating howtomake homemade chocolates.

4-H'ers sharing how to turn life skills developed in 4-H projects into scholarship dollars.

Youth programs including character education and hand washing.

Extension Homemakers sharing talents through various community service projects.
