Orville L. Skinner

Orville Leroy "Lee" Skinner, 71, of Lafayette, formerly of Delphi, died Oct. 16, 2007, at St. Elizabeth Regional Health Center, Lafayette.

Born May 31, 1936, in Flora, he was the son of Oren L. and Thetus G. Drake Skinner.

Mr. Skinner was a high school teacher for the Federal Government, working on several military bases, including the Philippines for 25 years and in Japan for four years.

Surviving are a son, R. Bruce Skinner (wife Kaori) of Belleville Mich.; three daughters, Michelle M. Skinner (husband Michael Jennings) of Kailua Hawaii, Lislee H. Skinner and Jasmine C. Skinner, both of Frankfort; a sister, Joyce Reed, (husband Ben) of Flat Rock, N.C.; and four granddaughters.
