Keegan Sheiss of Bringhurst recently exhibited the Champion Yorkshire and Supreme Champion Gilt overall breeds at the 2007 Keystone International Livestock Exposition (KILE) held in Harrisburg, Pa.

He also placed tenth in novice sweepstakes and his gilt was a class winner in the National Junior Swine Association's (NJSA) Eastern Regional Show, held in conjunction with KILE.

At the NJSA show, Desiray Simmons of Bringhurst placed ninth in senior showmanship and Madeline Sheiss of Bringhurst earned eighth place honors in novice showmanship and sweepstakes competitions.

The KILE and NJSA shows are on separate days with different judges. The KILE is open and the NJSA gilt show is only for NJSA members and features a showmanship contest and skillathon. The sweepstakes is a combination of points earned in the gilt show, showmanship, and skillathon competitions.
