Delphi Chamber offers Halloween coloring contest

Children can color their way to ghoulish fun by entering the Delphi Chamber of Commerce Halloween Coloring Contest which runs through Oct. 26.

Blank pictures will be distributed at Delphi Elementary School, Camden Early Childhood Center, Country Kids Pre- School, Ready-Set-Go, Noah's Ark and Kathie's Klubhouse. Call the chamber office at (765) 564-3034 to request a blank copy if your child, up to age 11, did not receive a picture to color.

Completed pictures may be taken to Industrial Federal Credit Union, Stone House Restaurant, Zook Realty, Mc- Carty Motors, CJ's Hallmark, ALCO, Brosman's IGA, Delphi Hardware & Paint, Wallmann's Quality Foods, Joan Abbott Real Estate, Regions Bank, Salin Bank, Dick Krieg Motors, Delphi City Hall, First Financial Bank, Fielding's Jewelry & Time or The Flower Shoppe II by Oct. 26 for display.

Awards will be presented Oct. 31 at 5:30 p.m. in the Canal Park

Pumpkin Patch. Contestantsmust be present to win. There will be three age groups, newborn to age five, ages six to eight, and ages nine to 11. The pumpkin patch will be open from5 to 6 p.m.

Other Delphi-area Halloween festivities will be held at the VFW, Delphi United Methodist Church and City of Delphi Trick or Treat Night, all held from 6 to 8 p.m.
