Bettering their communities
The 2007 Community Enhancement Awards were presented at the annual Carroll County Economic Development Corporation/ Carroll County Chamber of Commerce luncheon and awards program. The event was held Oct. 17 at the Wabash & Erie Canal Interpretive Center in Delphi. The awards are presented to businesses and organizations that have greatly improved the visual appeal of their business and therefore their community. This year's winners are: Carroll County - The Sportsman Inn; Delphi - Independent Order of Odd Fellows #28; Flora - Jackson-Lee-Pearson, Inc.; and Burlington - The Dinner Bell. There were no nominations this year from Camden.
