Deadline nears to apply for continuing ed scholarship

The deadline to apply for a $300 education continuation scholarship being offered by Contemporary Collection Extension Homemakers Club is Nov. 1.

To apply, the following criteria must be met:

Must be a Carroll County resident who has completed two semesters of college or vocational school by 12/24/07.

Shows ability to complete education or upgrade vocational skills.

Has been admitted to or cleared for admission to an academic or vocational school which is state licensed or accredited for spring 2008.

May be studying at undergraduate or graduate level.
