Donnelly endorses Strasser for mayor

Congressman Joe Donnelly endorsed Randy Strasser for mayor of Delphi at the annual Jefferson-Jackson Day Dinner held Oct. 20 at the Carroll County Country Club.

"Randy is the best candidate for the job," Donnelly said. "I know he possesses a solid vision for Delphi's future."

Donnelly said Strasser's plan to improve economic conditions downtown in conjunction with cultivating the Hoosier Heartland Corridor area demonstrated his passion for the city's future.

"He'll work tirelessly to provide city services more efficiently to keep tax and utility rates competitive," Donnelly concluded.

Democrats to meet

The Democratic Central Committee will meet Oct. 25 at 7 p.m. at the Democrat party headquarters, 105 S. Washington St., in Delphi. The public is welcome to attend.

Donnelly rep to hold session in Delphi

Julie Kitchell, field representative for Congressman Joe Donnelly, will hold a question and answer session Oct. 22 from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the Delphi Public Library. Veterans benefits and governmentrelated questions are two topics to be discussed.
