Absentee voting continues

Absentee voting continues in the Carroll County Clerk's Office.

Those who want to vote an absentee ballot through the mail should request an application by calling the Clerk's Office at (765) 564-4485 or (765) 564- 6795. Applications must be received in the clerk's office by mail or fax no later than Oct. 30 at midnight.

Those planning to vote an absentee ballot by traveling board should also request an application by calling the Clerk's Office. The applications must be faxed or hand-delivered to the office no later than Nov. 6 at noon. The traveling board will vote confined voters or those caring for a confined person on Nov. 3, and Nov. 6.

Request forms can be picked up at the Clerk's Office or visit www.in.gov/sos/elections.

The clerk's office is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Wednesday from 8 a.m. to noon. The office will also be open both Saturdays before the election - Oct. 27 and Nov. 3 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
