Oct. 13 - Deputy Town Marshal Kevin Hammond investigated a report by Burlington Pizza King that the top part of an ashtray that set by the front entrance was missing.

Oct. 14, 5:35 p.m. - Mill Road and Zook Lane area. Hammond investigated a report of two male juveniles attempting to steal a vehicle. Investigation showed that they were in their parents' vehicle and everything checked secure.

Oct. 9, 12:45 p.m. - Fraud, 119W. Franklin St. Credit card numbers issued to the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce were used for purchases in the Los Angeles, Calif., area without consent. Sgt. Brook McCain investigated.

Oct. 12, 2:25 p.m. - Hit and run - near Davis Ln. Vehicle parked in a private lot was struck by unknown vehicle. McCain investigated.
