With warm appreciation
Delphi superintendent RalphWalker (far right) helps long-time substitute bus driver Dick Hurts don a warm gift with help from school administrators during a bus driver appreciation breakfast. Along with a hearty meal and appreciative comments from Walker, each driver was given a lined hooded jacket replete with the Delphi Oracles logo. Drivers' names and years of service were read aloud as the gifts were presented. Walker said the drivers' roles were challenging and involved much more than simply driving students to and from school. "You are the first and last each day to see the children on your route,"Walker told the drivers.
