Camden Camden Preservation Society will meet at 7 p.m. Monday in the Reading Room at the library. Diane Wertz is the hostess. Camden American Legion will meet Monday evening at the Legion Home. Jesus Junction will meet at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 24 in the United Methodist Church. Story Time is held on Thursdays at 4 p.m. at the Camden- Jackson Township Public Library. Ruth Stone, formerly of the Camden area, will celebrate her 90th birthday on Sunday with a special celebration from 2 to 4 p.m. at the home of Sam and Sandy Sterrett, 2601 Hillside Dr., Logansport. Carroll Chapter No. 475 Order of the Eastern Star met Oct. 8 at the Masonic Temple with 24 attending. District Deputy Deloris Stupes was a guest. Worthy Patron Ray Peterson and Associate Worthy Patron Bill Kiger of the Helen Bonebrake OES Chapter filled in for Jeff Sieber and Andy Robison. Master Masons William Veach, Andy Robison, Richard Fite, Bill Kiger and Ray Peterson were also honored. Refreshments were served by Carolyn Edging and Tina Garrison. During the social time, a surprise bridal shower honored Brandi Robison Slaughterback. |
