For the first time in Carroll's history, both girls and boys teams won conference titles in the same sport during the same year. Both teams started strong and never looked back in winning Hoosier Heartland Conference titles at meets hosted by Rossville.
The boys had three runners earn All-Conference recognition with Tyler Macy leading the way with a 4th place finish. Andrew Miller and Seth Larimore were close behind finishing 6th and 7th, respectively.
For the girls, Ashley Bordner finished the 5K race as Conference runner-up, while four other Cougars also grabbed All-Conference honors. Following up Bordner's 2nd place finish were Kaitlin Kennedy (4th), Hope Hayden (5th), Lauren Wilkinson (6th) and Abby Reinke (10th).
