Tyra 45th anniversary

Bill and Mary Tyra of Bringhurst will celebrate their 45th wedding anniversary on Friday.

Tyra and the former Mary Wamsher were married Oct. 12, 1962, in Delphi. He is retired from Esserman Tire Service and she is retired from Zinn Kitchens.

For their anniversary and recent retirements, their family resurfaced, redecorated and accessorized the dining room and living room of their home while Mary was on a two and a half week vacation. Daughter Deanna Gibson (husband: Darryle) of Flora coordinated the project.

The couple has another daughter and two sons, Marilyn Fairchild (husband: Brad) of Lafayette, Billy Tyra (wife: Barbara) of Reynolds, and Shane Tyra (wife: Chasity) of DeMotte; ten grandchildren; and two great-grandsons.
