Surprise party for Beavers

Mr. and Mrs. Byard Beaver of Flora celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at a surprise party Oct. 7. It was held at the home of a son, Brian Beaver, and was hosted by all the couple's children.

Beaver and the former Judy Garrison were married Oct. 12, 1957, in Flora.

They are both retired.

Their children are Byard J. Beaver, Cutler; Nick Beaver (wife: Lisa), Flora; Scott Beaver (wife: B.J.), Lafayette; Brian Beaver (wife: Jennifer), Flora; and Todd Huffman, Delphi. They have 14 grandchildren.
