Wanda F. Rogers
Wanda Faye Rogers, 70, of Cutler, died at 9:40 p.m. Oct. 8, 2007, at her daughter 's residence in Flora. She had been in ill health for ten months.
Born Sept. 18, 1937, in Hazard, Ky., she was the daughter of William Lindzy and LeVodice Peyton Moore. She was married on Jan. 16, 1952, in Frenchburn, Ky., to Gilbert Ralph Rogers, who preceded her in death on Nov. 3, 2004.
Mrs. Rogers had worked at the former Essex Wire in Flora.
She loved playing bingo and enjoyed bowling, cooking, gardening and crocheting.
Surviving are four sons, Fredrick Leonard Rogers (wife: Patricia) and Timothy Glenn Rogers of Amboy, Paul Ray Rogers (wife: Mary) of Kokomo, and Ed Ralph Rogers (wife: Neva) of Flora; four daughters, Janet Leigh Reese of Rockfield, Dianna Lynn Starbuck of Flora, Pamela Elaine Bothof (husband: Steven J.) of Wabash, and Tina Louise Reinhardt of Warsaw; one brother, David Paul Arnett of Warsaw; 17 grandchildren; and 16 greatgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her stepfather, Fred Arnett, her brother, Bill Arnett, and one grandson.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Baker Funeral Home, Flora. Pastor Paul Sutherland will officiate. Burial will be at Ball Hill Cemetery, Cutler. Friends may call at the funeral home from 12 noon until time of service on Friday.
