Friends hold successful event

Friends of the Delphi Public Library held their first Scavenger Hunt and Family Fun Day Oct. 7. Activities in addition to the hunt included Dance-Dance Revolution, children's room games, and folk-music on the lawn, along with hot dogs and popcorn.

The successful event was made possible by library staff, Friends Board and members who worked behind the scenes

The winners of the Scavenger Hunt and the recipient of bookstore gift certificates were: Kayleen Baker, first place; Gayle Conner, second; Marsha Baker, third; Shandel Crowder, Zach Thomas, Lisa Crowder, and Mrs. Thomas, fourth; Shane Evans and Jenna Buehler, fifth.
